The Thompson Street Opera production of 'I will fly like a bird' was awarded an Honorable Mention by Chicago Classical Review in its list of the ten best performances of 2019. I'm thrilled to be in such exalted company; HMs also went to Riccardo Muti's performance of Verdi's Aïda, pianists Leif Ove Andsnes and Dmitri Trifonov, and violinist Hilary Hahn.
